Everyone has been contacted and migrated. At this point the data center did release an update on the cause. There was a zero day vulnerability that was exploited. After the data center released this information, I got numerous updates about 'scheduled maintenance' across multiple different exchange providers. In reality, it could have happened to everyone at the same time had the attackers been more aggressive with their resources. Out of the 30k mailboxes that were affected only 27 mailboxes were actually compromised. They mentioned that if we were one of those 27 mailboxes they would have contacted me. I was not contacted. At this point many backup PST files have been restored and links provided to you. I look daily for more PST files that have become available. When it becomes available I will contact you with the link to get your data with instructions on how to restore it to your mailbox. It's been a long 2 months since this incident but I am ready to get on to better options and features for those that have opted to migrate to the new data center.
