A large brute force dictionary attack too place yesterday from Bulgaria. After investigation, a hammer was taken to block the entire country of Bulgaria from accessing the server. Consulting with the immunify360 team that supports the firewall, it was discovered that some settings needed to be tweaked in the configuration file to block more aggressively failed logins from IP addresses.
